Rudolph Wagner Obituary
Rudolph (Otto) was born July 14, 1933 to Otto and Margaret Wagner. Following high school he joined the United States Air Force and proudly served for 20 years. Once retired he started his second career as a skilled home builder and built the home they still live in today.
In 1955 he married the love of his life Naomi and they shared 69 wonderful years. They had 5 children Donna(Rick), Diane(John), David(Cristina), Doug(Tara) and Danielle(James). Those children blessed them with 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with one on the way.
He never really retired as he was always up to helping others with his building skills. He enjoyed time with his family and friends, was always up for a party. In his spare time he enjoyed golf, building and flying his plane. To know him was to love him. He was definitely one of the good ones. He loved a good sweet treat and sharing them with all and his love for animals was evident when a stray showed up, it had a home.
He was the most amazing son, husband, father and pop pop. His presence here will be missed but what a joyous reunion we will all have one day.
He is pre deceased by his mom, dad, two brothers (Raymond,Richard) and a son in law (Rick). He is survived by his loving wife Naomi, sister (Linda), all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services to be held August 22 at Lohman Funeral Home 935 E New York Ave, DeLand, FL with viewing starting at 10 followed by Military Honors at Deland Memorial Gardens 600 E Beresford Ave, DeLand, FL All are welcome to attend a reception following the Military Honors at the Garden Club 865 S Alabama Ave, DeLand, FL
