Rudy Martin Obituary
MARTIN Rudy Born March 20, 1928 in Germany passed away November 24, 2007 in Vancouver after a battle with cancer. He will be remembered with love by Rosa Fransisca Amyot, his constant companion for the past 45 years. ""We had our ups and downs but we stayed together and loved each other very much right till the end."" Rudy will also be missed by Rosa's son Garry Amyot and his wife Janet; her grandchildren Chris and Jennifer Amyot; and great-grandchildren Jasmyne and Kasaday and all who knew him. A service will be held Thursday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1573 East 18th Avenue, Vancouver with burial at Ocean View Burial Park. Hi Rudy. wherever you are I hope you're enjoying a good cigar and a glass of cognac.Rudy was a tough guy with a heart as big as forever. He was a loyal friend,a hard worker, and a tough businessman. Bob and I have known Rudy and Rose over 20 years and have shared some wonderful evenings and holidays together. He was one of Bob's closest and dearest friends and I hope they're having a great time wherever they are. You touched a lot of people in your life and we are all so much better for have known you.
