Rudy Morales

I knew Mr. Morales for one year of my life---he was my 9th grade P.E. instructor.
He combined discipline, humor and warmth. He challenged all of us to be better.
He even challenged one student to a fifty yard dash---and he was not a long legged man!
It was a dead heat.
Funny how memories come back even 44 years later.
He would have made a great friend.
His family is truly blessed.

Dear Mary Lou and family,

We are so saddened to learn that Rudy has passed away. He was a wonderful community leader and always had that warm and welcoming smile. We send thoughts of sympathy and support and our hearts go out to you in your sorrow. We have arranged to have Rudy remembered at Mass at Saint Patrick's Cathedral in New York. May you be comforted by the memories of all the happy times that you shared with Rudy over the years.
