Rudy was a high school friend I'd lost touch with. Thank you for your kind poem, Miss Kitty, which reveals we remember the same person.

Even though I only knew you for a short while,it felt like I knew you for years.I was here to help you,for a time ,but I came away learning so much more,thank you.I deeply admired the way you lived your life,exactly the way you wanted,I will miss the fun times,i had with you and orson,and watching our bug shows LOL.THE time has finaly come,my friend,you said you wouldn't be afraid,may you rest in peace. The Man They Call Rudy
There is a man they call Rudy
Here at Dan Grinde's Cycle Shop
We think he's pretty special
N' coming from this bunch that means a lot
Some here has known Rudy for years
Others just for months
Some for the first time today
But you can bet they will never forget
The man they call Rudy
His French accent, his soft spoken voice, wit, n' charm
The stories that he tells seem to draw you in
Whether it's a bike ride he and the guys had taken
Or history from the past
Even his travels here in the U.S.
He tells them all boldness, pride, n' class
Once in a while, when Rudy is given a chance,
Doesn't matter what kind of day you may have had
He will make you laugh!
I look at the man they call Rudy
As my inspiration and hope
That whatever life brings our way, he's taught me
To deal with it and cope!
So, to the man I call Rudy
I have only one more thing to say
Before I bring this poem to an end.
And that is… I just want you to know
The love and respect I have for you
And that I'm proud to be called your friend!

To my friend r.i.p gone but never forgotten I will treasure all your memories and there will always be a place in my heart for you.

Rudy,we have known you for almost four decades and you have been a real friend to us in all that time.You always lived life to the fullest,full of passion and joy.Even after your cancer diagnosis,a true fighter,you beat the odds,surviving far beyond any of the doctor's predictions,giving you precious time with your family and friends.Although we are deeply saddened that you are no longer with us,we are eased to know that you no longer suffer,and want you to know that you are dearly missed.

RUDY was a very passionate,honest,devoted and logical man.
Apart from being a family man and a wiz at every task he took on,he wa a real Biker.
He wasn't a 1%er or a 3%er or a 33%er nor was he a week-end biker.
He was a man that loved riding that steel horse. He loved repairing and building motorcycles.
I will never forget the history we made in our travels on the open road.
He loved the wind in his face and the freedom that motorcycling gave him.
His was a special breed a true brother and a real Biker. R.I.P.
