Rupert Delgado, Jr., 56, of Richmond, Texas passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015. He was born in East Bernard on October 21, 1958 to Rupert Delgado, Sr. and Margarita Lara. Rupert, is survived by his children, Rupert Delgado III and his wife Denya, Brandy Edwards and her husband Raymond Jr., Eric Delgado and his wife Lupe and Brittany Rosales and her husband Jason; grandchildren, Jaron Delgado, J'dyn Cervantes, Caylah Delgado, Trinity Rosales, Rylan Delgado and Evan Delgado; mother, Margarita Lara Cruz and her husband Fernando Sr., sister, Rosie Salazar and her husband Octavio, brother, Richard Delgado and wife Diana, sister, Rachel Garcia and her husband Gerardo, brother, Robert Delgado and his wife Christina and sister, Lisa Mims and her husband Doug. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bertha M. Delgado, father, Rupert Delgado Sr., maternal grandparents, Blas and Clemencia Lara, paternal grandparents, Jose and Felipa Delgado; grandson, Bryson Hunter Delgado and Sister Juanita Maria Magdelena Torres. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 23, 2015 in the chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7:00 P.M, with Deacon Billy Guerrero. Mass will be said at 10:00 A.M. January 24. 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father William D. Bartniski. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be, Eric Delgado, Rupert Delgado III, Joe Camacho, Jason Rosales, Edward Delgado and Nathan Garza. Honorary Pallbearers, will be Gabriel Arismendez and Alfredo Cervantes.
