We are so sorry to hear of Russ's passing.
John says: Russ and I spent a lot of time together. He lived with me for 4 years. All that time we didn't realize we had the same birthday. We took flying lessons together. We worked at Western Rock together for 3 years. We went to Lake Powell many times and rode our motorcycles together. He was a great friend and companion, we had a lot of fun. I will treasure my memories of him.
Our hearts go out to his family.

I didn't know Russ well, but I did know one thing, he was an extremely hard worker and always strived to make sure our needs were met as one of his customers at Western Powder Coating. Just as it says in the obituary, he never complained about his medical issues, and one would hardly know he had any. The amazing work ethic that this man had and dedication that he had is so inspiring to me. What a good man, and what a great legacy he left behind for his family and all that had the privilege of knowing him. Rest easy Russ, and know that the business that you built is in good hands with your boys. We will try to carry your legacy forward in all we do!

I can give no greater compliment to a man than to say: "Here was a TRUE friend." I considered him a "man's man;" Humble, noble, and someone who I will never forget. I too, look forward to the day when I can shake his hand and thank him for contributing to the positive things in my life. "I live because I live outside of myself." Shakespeare said it, Russ personified it! God bless you, my eternal friend.

Russell and I would hang out together during the summers in Circleville Utah when we were just kids. Truly one of the good guys. Chris Lancaster

Dear Paula and family. My heart is broken. Russ is an amazing, loving man who was so kind and loving to me and all the Roland Dalton family.
Russ fixed it so Roland could stay in his home because it was too hard for Maurine to lift him. Russ was a genius in creating a special lift for Maurine to use. This was so kind and thoughtful.
Our prayers and love for Paula and the family at a difficult time. We love you so much.

My heart is broken. I know he was a fighter and tired of fighting. A man that never complained. One of the best kb customers. He was just a great man and friend. To the Dalton Family I'm so sorry. He is pain free. And we all will be able to see him again. I love u guys.
