Russell was a very nice man from a very nice family. He served Garibaldi well.

JP, I feel so bad over your loss. We all looked up to Russell and respected him so much, as I did all your family. He and your father were Garibaldi icons.
The Lord knows those who are His, and knows them by name.

My prayers for all the family. While I was growing up in Garibaldi, I just always thought he was supposed to be the Mayor permanently. I remember being quite indignant that anyone would dare to run against him; and was really upset when that other person won.
I thought of him often while I sat on the Garibaldi City Council, and always hoped I was making wise decisions for my community like he did.

Russell certainly contributed a lot to our little town. I remember when he bought a Morris Minor and buzzed around in it to the amazement of the locals.
He was ahead of his time.
Blessings,

As a person that grew up in Garibaldi I find the elders that we grew up with to be precious to remember and pray for family for their loss, but Heavens gain. We all know they are without pain and are looking down on us and guiding us thru our lives. The Lord allows this to happen when you least relize it. Prayers are always with the Curnutt family.

My sympathy goes out to the Family during your time of grief. A life well lived will surely be missed by many. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends and knowing that God is near when our hearts are broken. -Romans 15:33
