Dear Jeanne,
Along with Jack Conti, my husband and I played for your wedding reception. When Russell sang "Overjoyed" by Stevie Wonder with us, I knew your marriage would be long lived and special. I'm sorry it can't be even longer.....but you will always have him in your heart.
Sincerely,
Michelle & Fred from "Windjammer"

REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND. YOU WERE AN INSPIRATION TO ALL THAT HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING YOU. I HEARD ABOUT YOU LONG BEFORE I JOINED THE QUINCY POLICE DEPT, from my father in law Captain Bill Daley who often spoke so highly of you and your accomplishments despite your disability. You always seemed so happy and lived life to the fullest. I will never forget the day I saw you singing and playing the guitar along with your band on the stern of a booze cruise out in Boston Harbor singing the night away! Memories that last a lifetime. You will never be forgotten.

My dear friend Russell. You always meant so very much to me and to both of my parents. You were the first visually impaired adult mentor that I had. From the time I was five years old, and you came into our home for that first dinner with me and my parents you taught me how to face my vision problem with grace courage and humor the way you always did yourself. When I remember who you are I will think of laughter. I will remember all of the get-togethers we had at our home at Christmas or in the summer when you would come to the pool I will remember youre laughing and joking around with me and with everyone there and I will remember your guitar playing. You and my dad would get out those guitars and what a good time we would have listening to you both play and sing together I hope that you and my dad are up there with the Angels singing and playing your guitar together today. Play a song for me my friend. God bless and rest in peace.
