Russell Guidry Obituary
He was a native and lifelong resident of the Sulphur/Carlyss area.
Survivors include his mother, Lee Ella Guidry; two children, Russell Guidry Jr. and Tonja Guidry, all of Sulphur; his brother, Ronnie Guidry of Lake Charles; the mother of his children, Sheila Guidry of Sulphur; three grandchildren, Samantha, Gabrielle, and Christian Lavan; special cousins, Sharon Bufford, Dale and Deannie O'Quain, and Kenny Phipps; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Glady Guidry; and a grandson, Brandon Presley.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. A private interment service will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Monday with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday in the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of Harbor Hospice for their excellent care of Russell. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.

Mrs. Guidry, I am just finding this out. I am so sorry for the loss of you son. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I would like to get in touch with you. Your great granddaughter is growing in to a beautiful well mannered little girl.
