Russell E Morgan

Russell E. Morgan, 81, died July 13,2025 after a brief illness. He was born February 16,1944 to Herbert and Mavis (Perry) Morgan and was the oldest of seven children. He was predeceased by both parents; a sister Loretta (Morgan) Smiley; brothers Larry, Michael and Marlon Morgan.

After his graduation from Sherman High School Russell joined the National Guard and worked in the logging industry. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star with One Oak Leaf Cluster.

Russell is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon (Carver) Morgan, a sister, Mellony Morgan of Oakfield, a brother, Scott Morgan of Caribou, special niece/Goddaughter, Windy Pocock, special nephews William "Billy" and Tyler Martin, as well as many other sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to niece Brenda Steven's for her support through his illness.

A graveside committal will be held on August 23 at 1pm in the family plot in Sherman Cemetery with James O'Hara officiating. Directly after a gathering will be held at the Masonic Hall in Sherman.
