Russell Rudling Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 8 to Nov. 9, 2010.
RUDLING, Russell Raymond He held on as long as he could for the Leafs to win the cup. Our Dad, Grampie and Best Friend, a true Leafs fan passed away November 6, 2010, at the ripe old age of 83. Russ was best friend and former Husband to Pat, Dad to Russell Jr., Karen (1963), Kyle and Julie, Kelly (1984), Kristy and John, and Karey and his wife Heather, Grampie to Ryan, Arica, Kelsey, Keely, Joshua, Emma, and Addy. Russ was an outstanding fastball player, hockey and baseball coach, and co-founder of the original Windsor Power Skating School. He was the youngest of 7 brothers and sisters and a supervisor at Windsor Export Supply with Ford Motor Company for 33 years. We would like to thank Hotel Dieu Hospital doctors and staff for taking good care of our man. In kindness, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. Sad to have to write these words to the Rudling Family. I am overwhelmed with sadness. I will always remember Mr Rudling's laughter, and his smile that warmed my heart. Years ago, you all welcomed me into your special family, and for that I am thankful. You are all in my thoughts and prayers,
