Russell “Rusty” Edward Ford passed away on March 10, 2022. He was 48 years old. Rusty was born on May 5, 1973 in Houston, Tx. He grew up in Tomball, Tx. and graduated from Tomball High School. He later pursued his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1997. Rusty and Kelly married the same year and they went on to have two beautiful children, Samantha and Chase. He loved to hunt and fish, but his true passion was cars. He loved muscle cars and his car model collection that spills into each room of the house makes it obvious. His favorite car was his first, a 1978 Monte Carlo. He loved that car so much, he said he wanted to be buried in it. Fatherhood took precedence over the finances of fixing it up and he eventually sold it, begrudgingly. He made sure to tell everyone about it, and with a coy side-eye, insisted his wife “made” him get rid of it. Rusty is survived by his wife, Kelly, their two children Samantha and Chase, parents Ronald and Lynn Ford, brother and his wife Brian and Emily Ford, father-in-laws Dean Brown and Jimmy Corbett, brother-in-law Cory Brown, brother-in-law and his wife Vince and Angel Corbett and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A celebration of life will be held on April 7, 2022 at 5pm, The Springs 12612 Malcomson Road, Houston, Tx 77070. Please bring memories and stories to share.
