Russell L. Scott

Janice and Family-

Russell is so remembered for his dedication to the students at Randall Pepper. I am so fortunate that I had the blessed opportunity to be a fellow staff member, as well as a dear friend all these years. What a wonderful man, with his 'sly' grin, always in his hat! I will miss him, and wish all of his family blessings during this difficult time, with many memories for you to have always.

Dear Janice and Family,

We just heard about Russell. So sorry for your loss. He was such a dear man and we will never forget his wonderful tenor voice. It was always music to my ears when the two of you sang together at Gloria Dei and very special for us all when you sang together at our daughter Dawn's wedding. We have thought of you guys through these years that we left Fontana and send our love to you and the family. We'll always remember Russell in our hearts.

Dear Scott family,
I was saddened to hear of Russell's passing. I worked with him at Randall-Pepper and we had rooms next to each other for several years. He was a treasure and through his many years as a teacher, he touched the lives of so many of Fontana's kids. My thoughts and prayers go out to Janice, his loving wife, to Terry (we went to Fohi together) and to Jason (a former student of mine).
May all find comfort in such happy memories of him.

Dear Scott Family,
I was very sadden to hear that Mr. Scott (I always called him Mr. Scott) passed away. I got a call from Kathy Hogan last night who told my about Russell's passing. I worked with him at Randall-Pepper from 1989 until he retired. He, Mrs. Kopper, and myself made up the 5th grade team. He was good guy and would make me laugh. I just drove by your house on Tuesday and wondered to myself about him. I know he went though a lot in his life, and he's in a better place now . I know he wilI be surely missed. I won't be able to make the viewing or the service since I'll still teaching at Truman Middle School now and can't get off. May the Lord bless you and comfort you in this time of sorrow.
