Age 84 years of Franklinville passed away on Thursday April 17 2008 at the home of her Daughter.
Ruth was born in Philadelphia raised in Haddonfield married Joseph Alampi lived in Williamstown and resided in Franklinville for the past 52 yrs. Ruth graduated from Haddon-field High School in 1941 and started working at NJ Bell Telephone Company as an operator. She retired from Bell Atlantic as an Assistant Manager in the Assignment Bureau in 1983. Her favorite saying at work was ""Keep Moving"". Ruth cherished time spent with her family baking doing counter cross stitch projects watching the Phillies and Eagles games and reading. She always had food readily available whenever you stopped to visit.
Ruth is survived by her beloved daughter Joanne (Joseph) Rosemont of Minotola; two beloved grandchildren Joseph B. Rosemont of Landisville and Karen (Brian) Jost of Vineland; along with two precious great-grand-children Jack Michael and Emily Ruth Jost of Vineland; Sister Edythe Garnett of Woodlynne Sister-in-law Bette Harrison of Haddonfield; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Husband of 59 years Joseph L. Alampi; Grandson David Michael Rosemont Her Mother and Father Charlotte (Ceransky) Harrison Shaw and Frank Harrison.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday April 21 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Franklinville Methodist Church 1525 Coles Mill Road Franklinville. Viewing from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park Hurffville. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be sent to Franklinville Methodist Church P.O. 36 Franklinville NJ 08322 or the Township of Franklin Police Department K-9 Fund 1571 Delsea Drive Franklinville NJ 08322.
