It seems like I spent at least half of my early childhood at Ruth and Don's house. My mother and Ruth were extremely close sisters and the families really enjoyed being together. Ruth has always been my favorite aunt.

Aunt Ruth held a special place in our hearts. Her laughter and positive attitude touched so many. We rejoice with you that her earthly suffering has ended and look forward to seeing her when the Lord calls our name to come home. May you experience peace as you reminisce about your time with her.

I've always remembered with great fondness the wonderful time I had as a young boy (years ago) traveling out to Yakima with my parents and staying with Ruth and Donnie. We had such a great time. I also always enjoyed her visits to MN to see Grandma and Norman and hearing about all of her family, especially how proud she was of her grandchildren. She was such a sweet and gentle person. Our prayers and thoughts are with your family.

We are so sorry for your loss. Ruthie was a very special aunt and I will so much miss talking to her and hearing her giggle. She taught me to tole paint and tried very hard to teach me how to quilt. I was all thumbs at that - and that made her laugh. It was so easy for her. She is at peace now and together with the love of her life, Donnie. We hold you all in our prayers.
