Ruth was an exceptional person, someone who truly cared for everyone she came in contact with. She was a very good friend who was always joyful and happy. She could light up a room. I was honored to have her as a friend and I will miss her very much. She is certainly among Angels.

I was blessed to know Ruth Bond as a dedicated educator on the staff of Allenwood Elementary School in Temple Hills, MD where I was principal.
Ruth taught third grade where she was loved by her students and respected by their parents, as well as fellow educators and other staff members. Our school was a better place because she was there.
Ruth and I have stayed in close touch over the years since our retirements through emails, cards and calls. I am deeply saddened by the many days, weeks and months she had to spend in special recovery and rehab hospital settings.
My most sincere condolences and prayers go out to her family which she so dearly treasured. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of my cousin Ruth Helen's death. Though we hadn't seen each other in many years, we kept in touch through Christmas cards. I'm so happy to see how loved and respected she was by those who knew her well. My condolences to her family and friends

I have fond memories of my cousin, Ruth Helen. My mom, Elsa McNeice Conn, was Chella´s younger sister. My siblings, Betsy and Butch (Ed) Conn, and I spent many happy childhood hours at our maternal grandma´s house in southern Ohio. So sorry we lost touch over the years. My condolences to all your family. Eleanor Conn Bergquist, Colorado Springs.

I met Ruth when she came to Camp Springs Elementary School to teach in September of 1967. Beth was born the May before so Ruth had to come back to work that fall. We shared many of life's experiences together but the one I will always remember happened just 22 years ago. Ruth and I spent 11 days in Nova Scotia and Ruth drove the entire trip. We had a blast. I wish I could add a picture of her on that trip but you know how she was about taking pictures so she wouldn't let me take any of her.
I miss her every day.

Ruth and the three other ladies (from Clinton, MD) in this photo played a lot of bingo and enjoyed lunches together, over the years, in Florida. I know my mom will miss Ruth dearly, because she told me so when I called this past week.

I met Ruth when I was teaching 3rd grade at Crestview Elementary School in Clinton , Md. She came into my classroom for a parent/teacher conference about her daughter, Beth Bond Stafford. Ruth was a very dedicated and involved parent . She was kind, understanding, and worked well with me to make sure Beth had a successful school year.
I´ve been blessed to have Ruth´s friendship for many many years and will miss her greatly.
Love and prayers to all the family. Becky Holt
