It was probably at least 10 years that we last saw Ruth and we had moved to AZ in 1998. She taught both of my boys, Scott and Jon and Scott was the one who told me of her passing. Both boys, but especially Scott remember her fondly as to my wife and I. What wonderful contributions she made to the world of music and to the young people she taught in truly the life well lived. She will be sorely missed. Our condolences to the family.
