Ruth Ann Fisher, aged 92, passed away on August 17, 2024, in Boise, Idaho.

Born on October 11, 1931, in Boston, Massachusetts, Ruth dedicated her life to education and personal growth. She earned two master's degrees, one in English and another in Psychology, through universities in California, which fueled her successful career as an English teacher and department head at Lakewood High School and Hamilton Junior High School. Over twenty years, she profoundly impacted her students in Lakewood, California, with her commitment to making a difference in their lives.

Ruth was a warm and caring individual, cherished by her family and friends. Her hobbies included traveling across Europe and the United States, reading extensively, and tending to her garden. She found great joy in visiting and caring for her extended family members, which mirrored her nurturing nature.

Ruth is survived by her brothers, Dennis (Mike) and Francis (Frank) Fisher. She was preceded in death by her father, Christopher Fisher, mother, Gertrude Fisher, brothers, Robert (Bob) and Christopher (Champ), and sisters, Margret (Peggy) and Gertrude.

Services to honor Ruth's life will be held at All Souls Cemetery and Mortuary, located at 4400 Cherry Avenue, Long Beach, California. The viewing will be organized for family from 5:00 to 5:30 PM, and friends are welcome from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. All Souls Mortuary and Cemetery is assisting with the arrangements.
