I've thought about Ruth many times over the years since she moved from WL. She was a wonderful neighbor to me and helped me frequently with my triplets. Lovely woman. Rest in peace Ruth.

I have known Ruth since the 1940s and she and another friend from the same era have been bosom buddies since then. We have had almost yearly get-togethers, even at great distances, and without her in my life for all these years, I would have been a lesser person. I will miss her more than I can say.

My condolences to the family members of Ruth Hayman...I met her at the Greater Lafayette Museum of Art (Art League) and Purdue Womens' Club...I enjoyed discussing books we had both read...I missed seeing her when she moved to Evanston, IL...

I so much enjoyed both your parents-especially your mother! She was always fun to be around- never in a hurry, always with good humor and full of life. She made me feel comfortable and 'at home' whenever I came to visit. Her friendship to my parents was very important to them and I know that my own mother felt that Ruth was a sister for life. I will always miss your mother's smile.

Thinking of all you 'kids' with sadness yet with many good memories.

Sarah,
I did not know your mother, but from the beautiful write up I can see where your fine qualities came from. A remarkable woman. May God bless her soul and your family.
