Ruth Cheney Hendricks

HENDRICKS, Ruth Cheney, died on January 28, 2017, at Westminster-Canterbury. She was the wife of the late Reverend Walter F. Hendricks Jr., Episcopal priest at St. Luke's Richmond, Va. She is survived by her son, the Reverend W. Frisby Hendricks III and daughter-in-law, JeanAnn and their children, Walter Frisby IV "Cary" and wife, Laura, Geoffrey and Christopher Hendricks; daughter, Jean Rollins and son-in-law, Richard and their child, Betsy Stanley and husband Will and great-grandchildren, Carter and Kate Stanley; and daughter, Margaret Zack and son-in-law, Peter and their children, Sanno and fiance, Ed Scott, Britta Scherpf and husband, Chris, and great-grandchild, Everett Scherpf, Annika and husband, James deKay. She was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Smith College, class of 1941. She was a member of ESCRU, the Episcopal Society for Cultural and Racial Unity, and proudly participated in the march on Washington in 1963. As...
