On Sunday, December 10, 2006, Ruth J. (Beck) Ivancik, age 72 of Avalon, formerly of Bellevue & West View. Wife of the late Paul Ivancik; loving mother of Vicki (Veronica) Ivancik and Paul B. Ivancik; sister of the late Louis, Bernard, Joseph and Robert Beck, Dorothy Burger and Marion Gettings; also survived by many nieces & nephews. Friends received Tues. 7-9 and Wed. 2-4 & 7-9 at LAWRENCE T. MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 460 Lincoln Ave., Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of the Assumption, Thurs. 10AM. Family suggests memorial contributions to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa 15212 or to the St. Vincent dePaul Society, 1243 North Franklin St., Pittsburgh, PA 15233.

I worked with you many years ago at Horne's (along with Paulette). I remember how lovingly you always spoke of your mother.

I was so sorry and so shocked to hear about your beloved mom's passing... The few times that I met her I found her to be such a loving, kind,caring and compassionate lady, just like her daughter..... Please know that you are in my heart, thoughts and prayers now and always and I so care..... I pray that memories of wonderful and beautiful times give you the strength and courage to go on during this most difficult time... Vicki and Paul- Please accept my family's heartfelt sorrow for your and our loss. Ruth was the last of a generation, Ruth was always there for my mother and I hope God's blessing will reunite her with all our family in His Presence.

Vicki, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. There is so much I would like to say, but don't know how or what...
