Ruth Frances Justice, age 88, of Peach Bottom, PA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 21, 2018. Born on September 8, 1929 in Swords Creek, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Mamie Victoria (Newberry) Short. Ruth was an active member of the Oxford Church of God for over 42 years and was also active in doing missionary work. She lived for the Lord and hoped that everyone she knew was saved. She loved the Lord so much that she wanted everyone to accept the Lord as their Savior. Ruth also loved reading and flower gardening, but most of all, she loved her family. Ruth is survived by her sons: Willard A. Justice, Jr. and his wife, Sylvia, and Terry E. Justice; daughters: Patsy Frady and her husband, Larry, Brenda Aretz and her husband, Joseph, Linda G. Dalterio and her husband, Nick, Madge Sennett, Darlene Lindsey and her husband, Mike, and Donna Terry and her husband, Steve; brothers: Lacy Short and Ted Short; sister, Nell McNaucy and her husband, Dan; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Justice; daughter, Janice Justice; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. A celebration of Ruth's life will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Oxford Church of God, 198 Barnsley Road, Oxford, PA 19363, where friends and family may visit beginning at 10am. Burial will follow at West Nottingham Cemetery.

I am so sorry for your family's loss Ruth was a sweet wonderful lady I remember the day she first same to church at the Oxford church of God when it was held at the grange hall n pastor Smith was the pastor at that time I was there the night she gave her heart to the Lord n was saved.she sure dud live the Lord with her whole heart n soul she always wore a smile n a glow that could light the whole room up. She truly will be missed here on earth but I know for sure she will receive her crown in heaven .I loved sister Ruth so much .but we will all see her again in heaven .

Although I haven't seen your mother in many years, she was a friend to my mom many years ago and she was always a sweet person to her and to us. I pray that God gives you comfort needed for each of you during this difficult time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
