Ruth McAnallen Obituary
Born November 15, 1937 in Chicora, she was the daughter of the late Laverne Horton and Susan Spencer Horton.
Ruth was a faithful member of Community Alliance Church in Butler. She was employed as a produce manager at Friedman's in Butler for over 28 years. In her free time she enjoyed needlepoint and playing card games. Above all, Ruth deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ruth is survived by her sons, David (Sharon) McAnallen of Karns City, and Douglas McAnallen of Butler; her daughter, Darla (Doug) Culbertson of Butler; her grandchildren, Tina (Jeff) Huba, Amber Young, Stacy (David) Rodgers, Rachelle (James) Trbusich, David (Megan) McAnallen, Heather (Corey) Allison, Gina Goodman, Melissa (Chris Davis) McAnallen, Diana Wulff, Sara (Jesse) Schmidt, Sean Culbertson, and Austin McAnallen; her great-grandchildren, Samantha, Paul, Ariane, Mahalia, Dominick, Adalee, Emma, Skylar, David, Liam, Evan, Makenna, Laiken, Sophia, Vincent, Elise, Weston, Samuel, Nathan, Zayden, Luka and Gracie.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur H. "Mac" McAnallen; two daughters, Diana and Donna; her granddaughter, Lisa, and her husband, Joe; and three brothers and three sisters.
Friends will be received on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 6-8 P.M. at the Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Inc., of Connoquenessing Twp., 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 10 A.M. until the time of a funeral ceremony at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Denny Krajacic, officiating.
A private interment will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Ruth's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or online at www.stjude.org.
