Ruth Louise Murdock

Murdock, Ruth Louise Davison Age 88, passed away December 9, 2017 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 6 PM Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Annie Duncan officiating. Visitation will be from 3 PM until time of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Genesee County. Ruth was born in Flint, MI on March 24, 1929, daughter of the late Roy Edwin and Bessie Pearl (Degraff) Most. She married Richard Murdock, Sr. at Parkland Presbyterian Church in 1951 and he preceded her in death. Ruth was a member at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. She worked as a legal secretary at Leitson and Dean Law firm for many years before retiring in 1975. Ruth is survived by her children, Roy Allen (Sandy), James Richard (Pam), Richard E., Jr. and Harold Lee (Nancy); grandchildren, Angie (Paul), Nicole (Ryan) Shaul, Heather (John) VanDam, Richard E. III, Candy Lynn, Ruth Ann Rae, Danny (Caitlin), Matthew, Kellie (fiance', Steven DeWaard); great-grandchildren, Madison, Vada, Troy, Nathan, Lindsey and Brooklyn; good friends, Kim and Kelsey Mannor.
