Ruth was a woman of great character. I knew her and loved her and talked with her shortly after she moved to Utah. Then I called another time --- left a message , but never heard from her. May she rest in peace!

Ruth, a loving, caring individual, always positive and bringing out the best in others. She touched my life over many years in our service here in Denver. I will always admire her endless dimensions of learning everything she could possibly absorb about her life with unsurpassed vitality and sharing with others. I love you, Ruth, as my eternal friend and sister in the gospel

Ruth leaves an unsurpassed legacy of service, love and accomplishment. I treasure our many-year friendship and her generosity to me. In her heavenly home, she is free of illness and earthly limitations and I know her sphere of influence and service to the Lord will be unceasing. All of us will meet again, as our eternal lives do not begin with birth nor do they end with death. Blessings to her family and loved ones.

I am not only shocked by Ruth's sudden passing, I feel so many equally strong emotions.First, I am so grateful to have known her for the greater part of my life, I'm so sad that for the remainder of my time on this earth, I won't be able to enjoy her company. I was so thrilled when she moved to Utah and have been able to spend so many wonderful times with her. I also feel relief for her that though it jas been a sudden and sad event in my life, I'm so, so happy that Ruth didn't have to linger and suffer. She mentioned almost every time I saw her that she was really looking forward to going home. I also am thrilled for that she is with so many of her family who have passed on before her, but also that she Is now able to meet her great ancestry and get to know them as family. Ruth, I do now and will continue to miss you, but I also look forward to the day when I will see you again. You've had more influence on me than I'm sure you realized. I will spend the rest of my life so grateful for your encouragement and belief in me and work to be of service as you were to so many people.

I have know Ruth Silver for almost 30 years as a member in Women's library Association now ULA. She was a delight to work with, always smiling; having a good thing to say.

We will miss her very much.

The last few years I loved getting to know her by driving her to book club. We had many great discussions on life, books, our church and family. She will be missed by me and many others. Jackie Gibbons

Most wonderful older sister I ever had. We are 15 years apart in age....so you might say we are distantly related. (chuckle)

She is very left brain and I very right brain so we compliment each other. The one thing we have in common however, is that "we are both peace makers". I do love her so and will greatly miss her. Pauline Smith Jensen
