Ruth was born on August 28, 1920 and passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016. Ruth was a resident of Du Quoin, Illinois at the time of her passing. She was married to Ralph Thompson. Graveside services were at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with Rev. Earl Menchhofer officiating. Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin. Friends may make memorials to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at the funeral home. Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin is in charge of arrangements.
