Ruth B. Villi

Ruth B. Villi, 74, of Boston, died Sunday, June 17, 2012, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born March 19, 1938, in Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of Ruth Hughes Beahm, of Pittsburgh, and the late Harold Beahm. She was a member of First Evangelical Free Church, McKeesport. She was a former member, team manager, and secretary of the Elizabeth Township Athletic Association Baseball, and was also a member of the PTA. Ruth was a school bus driver for Elizabeth Forward from 1983 to 1992 and Woodland Hills from 1992 to 2002. She taught Sunday School for 20 years and loved to paint. She also loved animals. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph A. Villi Sr.; daughter, Valerie Villi, of Boston; and sons, Joey A. Villi Jr., of West Newton, and Chris A. (Jennifer) Villi, of Wexford; grandchildren, Ashley Wojcik (Michael) Mancini, of West Newton, Jonathan (Nicole) Wojcik, of Greensburg, Kendra Villi, of North Huntingdon, and Aaron and Caleb Villi, of Wexford; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Mancini, Hunter Wojcik and Addison Mancini; brothers, Fred (Maryann) Beahm, of Mercer, and Harold (Bonnie) Beahm, of Greenville; sister, Ellen Beahm, of Claysville; and nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Private burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Penn Hills.
