RUTH WELLS

RUTH WELLS, 95, of Woodburn, Ind., passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Born in Hun -tertown, Ind. on Jan. 5, 1928, Ruth was a daughter of the late Eleanor (Miller) and Ernie Rodenbeck. She worked many years at Sheller Globe. Ruth was a loving mother and grandmother who thoroughly enjoyed a good card game. She was an avid walker, having survived three of her walking partners. Ruth will be sadly missed by her children, Don Wells, Joyce Werling, Barb (Greg) Maroney, Chris (Russ) Heyn and Jane (Kent) Brenneke; grandchildren, Lori (Tom DeArmond) Werling, Jeremy Werling, Stephanie Lewis, Matt and Ben Heyn, Jon and Josh Maroney; and five great-grandchildren. Ruth was also preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Knoblauch. Service is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St., Woodburn, with viewing from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Viewing also from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the church.
