Just heard about this today and I offer my wife´s and my deepest sympathies. Such a great guy and and even better gentleman on the ice I fondly remember one Sunday night taking a face off against him and pleading for mercy. He laughed and said to me " I will let you win. A real loss for this world Sam Perry and family

Our deepest sympathies to Julie and Tood and other members of your great family. We are so heartbroken for your lost. Ryan was a great guy, always smiling and speading chearfullness.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to all of Ryan´s family during this incredibly difficult time.

I had the privilege of teaching and coaching Ryan at Stanstead College, and he truly stood out, not only as a gifted athlete but as a remarkable young man. Whether on the ice or the rugby field, Ryan was a true competitor. He brought energy, determination, and a genuine love for the game that made him an absolute joy to coach.

What I will remember most is his personality, larger than life, full of spirit, and capable of lifting those around him. Ryan left a lasting impression on everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bedard family and all of Ryan´s friends. May you find comfort in the incredible memories he created and the love he leaves behind.

RYAN, you will be missed terribly by all who were lucky enough to know you. Your love of life was a reflection of the love and caring you received from your Mom, Dad, brother and sister your whole life, which you freely gave to all you met. This was so evident in the last few weeks of your life by the many, many visitors you had while you were in the hospital. You will remain in our hearts forever.

I only met Ryan a few times at Stanstead College alumni events, but were those times ever memorable. Nothing really got going until Ryan arrived. Larger than life personality and just made the room better. Gone far too soon. To Ryan´s family - my deepest condolences for the loss of such a great man.

I know of Ryan through Chantal, who´s never had anything but shining praise for her brother Ryan! Chantal talks about Ryan´s loyalty, huge heart, talent and him being her biggest cheerleader, always. I can tell he´s always been a special person and it´s no surprise that God thought it best to make sure he was part of the lovely Bedard family, on this earth and beyond. Love & prayers your way

My wife Julianne and I always thought of Ryan as an adopted son. I played several golf tournaments with Ryan, and every minute of it was joyful! I never saw a frown on his face, and he was always a joy to be around.

I don´t think anyone can say enough good things about Ry for the incredible human he was in the time he spent on this earth. I think I can speak for everyone when I say I will miss his demeanor, laughter, joy for always having a good time or always being down to do some karaoke from rooftops to everyone´s basements. Although we only knew Ryan for a short time while he lived with us while playing Jr´s, we had a lot of laughs.
