Ryan Gray Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 6, 2023.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ryan Troy Gray, a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, whose gentle spirit departed this world on September 29, 2023, in Littleton, Colorado.

Born on May 29, 1978, in Louisville, Kentucky, Ryan had a deep and enduring connection with the earth. This bond grew stronger throughout his life and was something he loved sharing with others.

Ryan is survived by his son, Bryson, his mother Kim Hawkins-King and stepdad Don King, father Gary Gray and his wife Trudy, his grandmother Catherine Connors, and his siblings, Nicole Sealy, brother-in-law Shawn Sealy, and Stephanie Abramovici and her husband Daniel, as well as being a beloved uncle to nine nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by numerous aunts and uncles. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Yvonne Hawkins, and Anthony Gray. He leaves behind a legacy filled with love and laughter.

Ryan's greatest joy was being daddy to his beloved son, Bryson. His dedication to Bryson was unwavering, and he took immense pride in watching his son grow. The bond they shared will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration for those who loved Ryan. One of the most treasured memories we hold close is Ryan sharing his love of fishing with his son, Bryson. Always managing to catch the big one, creating precious moments of connection that will forever be etched in our hearts.

In addition to his family, Ryan leaves behind a multitude of friends who will forever remember his warm smile, bright blue eyes, vast knowledge of useless trivia, his quick wit and dry sense of humor, and the kindness he extended to all who crossed his path. Ryan's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a gifted baseball player; he could "knock the cover off a ball" and pitch aces across the plate. Ryan was a passionate lifetime collector of sports cards with a heart that moved for jam bands and shows. His spirit is truly unforgettable.

A memorial service to celebrate Ryan's life will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 27th, 2023 at Spirit of Hope United Methodist Church located at 4300 S. Lincoln St. Englewood, Co 80113, where friends and family can gather to remember the wonderful person he was and find solace in one another's company.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Bryson's custodial education account. Contributions may be sent thru Zelle using [email protected]. Bryson Berce as the recipient.

Ryan Gray will be deeply missed but never forgotten, and his spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest knowing how very much he was loved.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My son ( Eric Cerise) played Little League baseball with him. I remember him very well, he was a very good ball player. Sending prayers and love to you and your family.

Ryan and Bryson used to walk home from Colorow with my Mom and my Niece Shelby everyday. He had a warm heart and was always talking about fishing. Hoping you´re dropping a fishing line up there! Thank you for always being you. RIP

Ryan would walk by my house daily. I always had a question about a sports card and if it was valuable. I would run inside and get it, show it to him, and like always he would tell me it's not worth anything. We would always laugh about it. Rip Ryan

Ryan was my best friend growing up. He always protected those being bullied and had a soft heart for anyone enduring pain. His knowledge of southwest history is extensive. I loved Ryan and will miss him greatly.

My heart breaks for Ryan´s entire family and circle of friends. I did not have the honor of knowing him and I only know his dad from our Facebook friendship. I hope to meet one day Gary so that I can give a comforting hug. I know your pain. Rest in peace Ryan until you are all together again in Heaven one day.

My dear nephew was the prettiest baby I have ever seen (next to my own, of course). He was my birthday buddy and we always reminded each other of that fact. He was like a long-distance big brother to my son, Alan, and I greatly appreciated that. He was a deep thinker and a free spirit. He is missed beyond what words can explain by all of us who loved him. Rest in peace, dear one.

My sincere heartfelt condolences to the families of Ryan. I´m sorry that I did not know him but I did know Bryson his son, when he was younger and my goes out to him. I love still love Bryson. I haven´t seen him for a long time but get updates from Nora. He is a very kind loving young boy. He loved my Dad (Tarz or Glenn Clasby) very much and my sister Nora Clasby Yates. I´m sure that he got the beautiful qualities he has from his father Ryan in the description I just read about his father Ryan. A big heart and love of nature. To name just 2.
Please help Bryson with the loss of his father.
Sincere sympathy and prayers for the family and friends that will miss Ryan so much. Best wishes for you all. May Ryan rest peacefully until God calls and wakes him. With love, A friend of Bryson´s.

My beloved grandson Ryan always gentle of thought and so very careing, even at a very young age! Once, when 5 years old, he sat on the top bunk of his bed at my home and was eating Scallions, (we called them green onions) with tears pouring from his eyes. When I asked him " sweetheart why are you eating those onions" he responded, "because you do Gran" " I know you love them" "and I'm gonna buy you a big House with a porch all the way round"! He was remembering my wish for a porch with a swing.
Rest peacefully my precious. You will never be far from my thoughts and side.
Your loving Gran
