Prayer Shawls 4 Fallen Soldiers ([email protected]) is an organization with groups throughout the country who strive to send handmade prayer shawls and/ or lap robes to families who have lost a loved one in service to our country. Members of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, PA would like to honor your loved one's sacrifice and memory by sending our prayers and comfort through a shawl which we will mail to you. If you are interested, please contact me at [email protected] with the names and addresses and what they would like to receive. We will send them as soon as possible. Also, if you know of any other families who are grieving the loss of a loved one who died serving our country, please pass along my e-mail address, as our organization can no longer get family contacts through the military. May God bless you and comfort you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Lynne

Dear Iannelli Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Our youngest son, Kyle, played baseball with Ryan at KRHS, and we remember him well. His love and devotion to his country, family, and God is something we should all aspire to. Thank God for special people like your son.

Donna, Kenny and Mandy, So sorry for your lost and thank you for your sacrifice as parents you could have made. Would have been there but I had second thoughts. One, I wanted to remember that little Italian boy with the darkest hair toddling around and always being happy. Second, Jamie had just enlisted into the Navy in August and as a parent the emotional toll it takes I could not have done that to your family. Please accept our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Love Linda, James{J.P} & Jamie- Lyn

To The Iannelli Family:
Last Friday afternoon I learned of Ryan's passing when I glanced at the cover of the Gloucester County Times. I'm not certain Ryan would have remembered me, but I was his 7th grade Geography and Literature teacher at KRMS. This was the only year I taught, and I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to come to know such a courageous and selfless young man. I only wish we could have watched his future contributions to humanity. My heartfelt condolences to your family and those lucky enough to call Captain Iannelli a friend. Thank you, Ryan, for your service, your sacrifice, and for reminding us what we've lost.

To the family of Capt. Ryan K. Iannelli, my name is Barbara & I am a member of Calvary Temple Church in Phila. PA. My heart was broken when I heard this news & I cannot even imagine what you his family, friends & loved ones are going through. The hope Praise God that we have, the promise we have because of what Jesus has done for us & by receiving Him we have the full knowledge that Ryan from the moment he left this earth was with his first love Our Lord & Savior! When I heard his Dad say "we rejoice even though we mourn" my heart was touched beyond words. I pray the Hand of Our Lord be on all of you, comforting your hearts as only He can. I never met this wonderful brave young man but he is my brother in Christ and my most sincere sympathy and love are with all that are left behind. Your son was a hero in Christ first and as the wonderful young man and marine that you raised up in the Lord. Lord bless you and keep you all in this time of great sorrow. Barbara

Dear Iannelli Family,
My heart hurts for you as you say good bye to your dear son and brother. I didn't know your Ryan but I know I will meet him some day and then I will thank him for defending my freedom.
I do know from what I've read about him and he is an American Hero and he is now safe in the arms of our Lord whom he loved and served.
It is uplifting to know that you do not have to grieve” as others, who have no hope”.
My prayer is that our loving God will uphold and sustain you through the difficult days and surround you with His "peace which passes all understanding" until the day you are reunited with Ryan.
I thank you for raising a Hero, and I know he is enjoying all of the splendors of Heaven right now.
Sincerely and with love,
Pat
