Ryan,

It was an honor sharing a position with you growing up playing baseball. Being younger and being a similar player, I always had someone to look up to and someone to help me perfect my craft. You were a perfect role model, quiet and reserved, always focused on how to become a better player and person. I´ll always cherish the times we had together like the times you invited me over to your apartment last year to talk and catch up on life and have a great time. Seeing a familiar face on campus or at the gym was a subtle reminder of home and just someone I could talk to comfortably. You will be missed, rest in peace.

Ryan,
I am flooded with all of the wonderful memories and experiences our family has had with you. From such a little boy you have been a part of our lives. The countless cheers from us on the sidelines rooting you on for basketball or baseball. Loved to watch you play. From the crack of that batt to the speed of you racing and hitting that base. The local teams, the travel teams and oh the joy at the end when Santino´s grandma´s chocolate chip cookies came out. Being such a supportive teammate and friend to all who had the pleasure to know you. The laughs you have had in such a short lifetime. As I scroll through all the pictures with Santino explaining what was happening in every single one I find comfort knowing you had so many amazing times together. My boys walking in from the SlipKnot concert with you talking a mile a minute the next day saying it was the best time of our lives!! Countless video gaming sessions with all 3 of our boys, the yelling the screaming with joy or defeat. Oh and rock-band the endless rock-band and me just laughing in the kitchen when one of you were the singer and so off key but the laughing and the sweating you would swear you guys were all in an actual band. The closeness your friend group had was amazing and hard to find. But to my son Santino you were another brother. At school you lived together, ate together, walked to class together, borrowed cars to come home, road home together, exercised together, grocery shopped together, talks on the couch, second rock band set to play at school, football games, vacations and the endless quizzing Santino with questions for his emt class and the joy you both had when he passed this summer. You have been ripped away from your friends and your family far to soon, we want more time, never enough time. We are grieving for you, praying for your family and all of your friends, you are loved deeply.

Ryan, thank you for being a supportive friend. I will forever be thankful Angela introduced you to me. You always had such a positive presence and could ease any conversation. I admire how you always supported your friends and had their backs. You may not have known it, but just a few weeks ago I was feeling down and you made me feel so cared for and supported. I wish love and sympathy to all of your friends and family.

Thank you Ryan for being such a good friend to my sons. I appreciate the sincere joy I have witnessed with you and all of your friends over the years from grade school into college. Thank you especially for being such a good friend to Santino, I think you know what your friendship and support has meant to him, especially at college. As a father I have been blessed to have them spend so much time with someone like you. As a coach, to have a player with your talent and dedication, coupled with your respect for your coaches and teammates is incredibly rare. Your smile and laughter is contagious, you always made everyone feel better. I never heard you say a derogatory word about another person, thank you for always being positive and focusing on the good. I hope I can learn from you. We are shocked and saddened you are not here with us, we know heaven is ready for you, and they are lucky to have you. May you continue to smile in God's embrace.

Ryan , We love you and will never forget you . You were always so polite and well mannered. William would love to play catch or football with you. You always spoke so kindly to me- Hi Mrs Davis ! I will call and write your mom to make sure she is ok. It was always a pleasure to have you over. A wonderful handsome smart young man will never be forgotten! I think about the trip Hershey for the basketball championship . I remember when you won the championship in basketball in eighth grade. I will live to support your wonderful family always!
