I remember you and Matt attached at the hip. Where you went he went. I clearly remember at this point 6 years back when we made the trip for your weightlifting competition. Matt placed higher, but you didn’t care. You were so proud of him. That’s who you’ve always been, everyones biggest supporter. And your smile, always been soo contagious. We will miss that smile.

We were only privileged to be around Rygh a few times but I will never forget the light that he had about him. He was truly one of the most respectful, intelligent, and sweetest boys I had ever met in my life. Danny and I will never forget the night he gave up his room for us to stay in. I was impressed by him the first time I ever met him. The world has lost a bright light losing him for sure.
We are truly sorry for your loss.
Sending all our love and Christ's comfort to you!

Hearing about Rygh’s passing makes me sad. I’m so sorry for your loss. I went to freshman homecoming with Rygh and we dated for a little bit. He was always the life of the party and easy going. I remember during art class senior year he was painting his clay sculpture and spilled glaze all over himself, it was so funny. Rygh always liked to joke around and could make you laugh. RIP Rygh, you will be missed.

I had the absolute privilege to have Rygh as one of my sailors. He was hard working, always smiled and never scared to take on a new task. One of the most respectful young men I have ever served with, I even met his mom at one point and I can see why he was so great. My heart goes out to the entire family.
