Sadie Rose Teske

Teske, Sadie Rose Age 94, formerly of Brookfield, WI and Haines City, FL, died Monday, March 26, 2018 at Milestone Senior Living in Eau Claire, WI. Sadie was born on February 8, 1924, to Sicilian immigrants, Sam and Sarah (Sorce) Trasser in West Allis. She attended West Allis Central High School. Sadie worked at Allis-Chalmers, a manufacturing company, where she met her beloved husband, Alan Teske. They were married 64 years until Alan's death. Sadie and Alan raised three children. Sadie worked as a checker at the Kohl's, Food Fair of Elm Grove, and Pick and Save grocery stores. She was multi-talented as an oil painter, clothing designer, and cook. Sadie had a lovely singing voice. She was an active church member where she sang in the choir and helped with the youth group. Sadie loved to entertain family and friends making people happy with her wonderful cooking. In addition, she strongly loved all animals. Sadie is survived by her living children, Todd (Ellen Stafford) of Eau Claire, WI; and Toni (Tom) Jooss of Pell Lake, WI. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, Zak (Edrina Pavel), Jake (Megan Bartel), and Ryley Teske, Erin and David (Jess Johnson) Jooss, and Sarah, Jamison (Yuka Kumazaki), Joseph, and Kathryn Teske; twelve great-grandchildren, Ella, Weston, Addilyn, Colton, and Jaxson Jooss, Aden and Asher Vukcevic, Mason Teske, and Emersyn Ackerlund, Charlie Ann Karker, Richard and Julia Teske; three sister-in laws, Jeanette Teske, Virginia Trasser, and Rosemary Trasser; many nieces, nephews, relatives and wonderful faithful friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry (Wendy Taylor Teske); three brothers, two sisters; and her husband, Alan Teske on January 12, 2010 and her son, Larry Teske on December 7, 2009. Visitation will be held from 10-11:30 a.m., Monday, April 9, 2018 in the chapel at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 10700 W. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53222 followed by interment at 11:45 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and may be designated to the Eau Claire County Humane Association.
