SAFIA KHAN Obituary
Of Pleasant Hills, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016, at her residence. Beloved wife of the late Mohammed Peer Khan; loving mother of Afshan (spouse, Mohammed Abdul Rahman) Khan and Rana (spouse, Khusro Ansari) Khan Ansari; adored grandmother of Noor, Kabir, Basir, Zuhayr, Qadir, and Eman; also survived by nine brothers and sisters in India. Funeral Prayers will be held Friday, 1:30 p.m. at the Muslim Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh, 233 Seaman Ln., Monroeville, PA. Interment will follow in Homewood Cemetery. Arrangements by the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE / PLUM CHAPEL) (412-856-4747).

Your mom truly touched my heart, she was a wonderful woman. I loved making her smile and laugh, and telling her about my school days, as she always took such an interest. She will be missed deeply. My condolences and I'm sure she will be watching down on the family with lots of love.

Dear Eman and Zuhayr,
Your Nunnie (Safia) loved you both so very much. You two could make her smile, even when she was having a rough day. I will never forget our car rides together and playing in the living room with you two, while Safia listened to us play and her favorite TV shows in the background. She enjoyed just listening to you learn, argue with each other, play,and grow- she was so proud of you both. I know she will be watching down on you from above with lots of love.
