Loved and adored wife and partner of Peter for 50+ years. Dearly loved mother of Alex and Camilla, much loved Grandy of Ryan, Felix, Caitlyn, Olivia, Jacqui and Alexander.
Leading, influential Health Consumer Advocate for the past 20 years in many voluntary, medical and government entities.
Founder and Chair of two successful volunteer, cancer consumer advocacy groups: Breast Cancer Action Group NSW and Cancer Voices NSW.
Family, friends and colleagues are invited to celebrate Sally's life at the University of Sydney at the MacLaurin Hall in the Main Quadrangle at 11 am on Saturday February 4, 2017.

Sally invested a mammoth unrelenting effort in Cancer Consumer Activism at State level for nigh on twenty years! A stalwart of her time if ever there was one ! Sadly it was not transcribed into a cohesive National Cancer Consumer Advocacy platform ! That remains as an outstanding objective for the cancer community at large and a fitting tribute to aim for!

Sally's enterprise and hard work in NSW which helped so many cancer patients was attempted in other states but never fully replicated. Some state cancer councils never really wanted a strong and outspoken consumer group on their doorstep. They paid lip-service to the concept but with no real enthusiasm. Sally tried to help consumer groups in other states but none really flourished as well as Cancer Voices NSW. A sad loss to consumer activism and a hard act to follow.
