Sally Snow Gates

I was saddened to hear of Sally's passing. I got to know her when I taught Ainsley at Northeast School. Sally was always lovely and supportive, a true pleasure to partner with in the education of her child. Then I became a regular at the pharmacy, where Sally and Reeder consistently provided excellent, expert service. I am not alone in believing the Gates family brought energy, intelligence, and kindness to our community.

My sincere condolences to Ainsley and Missy and their families as they come to terms with this enormous loss.

So sorry to hear of Sally’s passing..It was always a bright spot in our day when she would stop in to shop or chat at Hickory Hollow Golf Range &Pro Shop and Gone Loco Train Shoppe..So appreciated her and Reeder’s support and friendship over the years..May they both Rest In Peace together now..

Words cannot express our sadness with the passing of Sally, she was one of the best. You may not have liked the medicine she gave you but it was out of love and affection that she did it. We will miss her spirit tremendously but the memories we’ve retained will serve us well. Rest In Peace Sally. We wish you well in your journey, tell the boys Joel love and we will meet again someday. All of our love.

Sally and I shared a love for spending time with our respective families in our homes in Panacea Pines. Sally was so devoted and proud of every member of her wonderful family. Her annual Christmas letter was heart-felt and sincere. Even after the loss of her husband, Reeder, she showed courage and continued to move forward with all of their shared plans at the lake. Sally was a friendly and kind neighbor, she always found time to chat or advise me of ways to resolve my concerns as a single lake home owner. My family members and I send our sincere condolences at this sad time.

Sally was such a special person. She loved golf and was an inspiration to all of us that played the game with her. May she rest in peace.

Truly a shining light in so many lives. Sally filled the room with her beautiful smile and Infectious laugh. She was not only a high school cheerleader but the cheerleader of our class of '63. I was truly blessed to call her a friend. My sincere condolences to her family.

There will always be a special place in my heart for this dear friend and High School classmate. She will certainly be missed by all her loved ones.

Sally was such an unbelieveably generous, fun, energetic & kind hearted woman, and was the absolute best friend to Monique. She helped her out in so many ways, and was so thoughtful to send her cards to Canada very recently. Sally was an absolute inspiration, and lived life to the fullest. Sally will always occupy a special place in my heart. A special group of friends shared many (fun) meetings in planning the 50th class of 1963 reunion which was a huge success. This celebration consisted of a variety of events and ended with a cookout at the home of "Sis" Sullivan Merrell which really was a perfect way to have relaxed conversations with our classmates. When it came time to say goodbye for now, I suddenly realized that our classmates meant much more to me than I even knew.

That was not the end as we had several more meetings and a few more celebrations and Sally always shared many stories, laughter and inside information that guys never seem to have absorbed during our school years. She was definetly the driving force to our Class of 1963 reunion committee and the many things that we accomplished.

I will forever thank God for knowing her and being able to be counted amongst her friends. Her spirit will forever be with us through her family and loved ones. Rest in Peace my friend.

We are so so sad to hear about Sally. We will surely miss all the cards that she sent us since we moved south and always just the right one for the occasion! She adds a new light to Heaven and so glad to have had her friendship. Our sincerest sympathies to the family.

To the Gates family-Reeder and Sally were dear friends of our dad, Tom Sokol. Our loving hearts are with you all. We know the world is a better place because of these amazing souls. May Sally’s love shine in our hearts always and forever.

I am so sad to read that Sally has passed away.

So sad to hear of Sally's passing. Her positive energy affected all who came within her sphere. A loving kind spirit who always wanted the best for others and gave her all to make it happen. Her light and strength will be carried within us forever.

There can't possibly be a more caring, giving , loyal person on this earth. We will all miss Sally. My heart & prayers go out to all of Sally's family & close friends.

I am so sad to hear of Aunt Sally's passing. She was always so full of life and so busy...loving her family... doing for others. She will be greatly missed.
