Sally always had a doggie and many neighbors stopping by with their dogs at her garage at Parkview Hills, Kalamazoo, MI. I always enjoyed walking by with my dog and saying "Hello". What a wonderful person Sally was. She will be remembered kindly. Maridee Hanselman

I met Sally when I joined an investment club and I was always so impressed with Sally's knowledge and her willingness to share and help new members. For a few years Sally and I and other members would meet for dinner before our meetings. Those were times when I learned more about Sally's interesting life. She once told a story about she and Jim being dropped by plane somewhere in a remote region of Alaska. The pilot asked if they were prepared if they met a grizzly. Jim showed a small pistol that he had. The pilot asked if Jim was going to file off the sight. When Jim asked why, the pilot told him that was so it wouldn't hurt as much when the bear did something(I won't mention here). Another fond memory I have is when my husband & I visited Sally in Florida. She wanted to know if we would go with her and have a hot dog! She said she didn't have a hot dog very often because they weren't healthy, but since we were visiting, it was cause for a celebration! Sally knew how to enjoy every day! I will miss her greatly.

I will miss Sally and all the years we spent working Early Practice Scheduling at the Boys National Tennis tournament at K College. Many years of laughter and meeting all the players and their families. She was a wonderful, positive , beautiful lady.

Cousin Sally, as our dad (Jack Weaver) always called her, was always so friendly, kind and hilarious. Her sense of humor, love for dogs and people alike was contagious. From the family reunion at the cottage in Michigan to the visits in Peoria, IL, we only have fond memories of her and Jim. May she Rest In Peace beside him.
