Louise and Laurie, I had no idea until today that your mother had died. I worked with your mom as she volunteered on the 1978 Thornburgh campaign. We remained friends for many years after. I last saw her along with your dad in their apartment in Oakland soon after they moved. Simply put, your mom was one of the nicest, most genteel, and thoughtful persons i have ever known. Both she and your dad were generous to me through their friendship both personally and professionally. I shall always remember them and send my belated condolences.

My deepest sympathy to family and friends.

With sincere sympathy,
My dear dad, Edward Getz, worked at the Children's Home many years ago. He also worked for the Ketchum's and spoke very highly of them.

To Laurie and Louise : sending you each my love and prayers . Your Mom was an example of how we should all live . What wonderful things she accomplished, besides raising her two beautiful daughters, whom I was blessed to call friends. I will not forget a magical trip to Stone Harbor with your family , including making an escape to Tuckahoe during a hurricane . I fondly remember the times spent at the Ketchum home with Mrs . Ketchum being the most loving and kind hostess . She was so adored by you both . Love you each . Wishing you God's peace that surpasses all human understanding. Anne Wentley - Dorsey
