Sally Murphy Obituary
Born on June 18, 1944, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Sally was a warm and caring presence in the lives of those who knew her. She was the heart of her family, offering generosity and kindness to all. Jesus was the Lord of her life, and she was an encouragement to many in their own faith.
Sally shared 60 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband and best friend, Mike Murphy. Together, they built a life filled with love and adventure, enjoying RV camping, biking, and walking side by side. Their bond was an inspiration to their family and friends.
She is survived by Mike; her children Sarah Schwartz (Richard), Rebecca Fox (Michael), and Michael Murphy Jr. (Tara); her cherished grandchildren Hannah Schwartz Campbell (Andrew), Matthew Fox (Allie), Erica Murphy, Alex Schwartz, Jordan Fox, Emma Schwartz, C.C. Murphy Bogdanovic (Luke), Kyla Murphy, Michael Murphy III, and Andrew Murphy; and her great-grandchildren Wayland Campbell and Skye Campbell. She is also survived by her elder brother Wright Curchin (Peggy) and younger brother Alex Curchin III (Cindy).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander Curchin Jr. and Shirley Curchin.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Christ Presbyterian Church, located at 1230 Rossview Road in Clarksville, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sally's honor to Standing Stone Ministries at (https://raisedonors.com/standingstone/shepherd-donation?fund-code=2101.22).
Sally's legacy of love and faith will continue to shine through the lives of those she touched.

We are saddened hearing of Sally´s going home. We have been praying for you all for some time and now we know you are enveloped by our Heavenly Fathers arms and His peace surrounds you. Sally was such an encouragement to me, encouraging my faith, my confidence as a mother, and my understanding of how to put hands and feet to the gospel message. Praise the Lord for her legacy that lives on in her children and her own children. and praise the Lord for her return to the Creator, who loves herself and gave everything for her!

What a beautiful obituary, if only it could say what an amazing woman she was! She was full of spunk and we were like minded in so many ways. She was such an inspiration to me in so many ways. She was my first "sister" before my biological sister was born. Her spirit lives in all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. May Jesus´s arms enfold the family in comfort and peace.
