Dear Sally, You were my mentor at Dawson College where I taught for 31 years with your help and support. Even now after all this time, I know I wouldn't have had a career without you. You will always have a place in my heart. I love you .

Sally was there for the students first and last. She never forgot her priorities. Her example taught me what it meant to be a good teacher. With love and gratitude, Marc Plourde

I worked with Sally for years at Dawson. I will remember Sally as a kind, loving, hard working,no nonsense, straight shooter. Whether we were meeting in committee, at Senate or just in the hallway she made it a point to be thoughtful, pleasant and encouraging. I especially enjoyed her unannounced visits to my office to chat about whatever was on her mind or to give me a word of encouragement that she thought was needed...

Sally's fierce professionalism and ready laugh shaped a generation of students and teachers. Her door was always open (she looked forward to breaks in grading) and her advice was often sought and (mostly) followed. It was a privilege to know her and work with her.

Sally's office had the dubious distinction of being near the Anthropology Department (of which I am a member) and its classroom for many years. Although some would have complained about the chimpanzee pant-hooting coming from the classroom during the Evolution classes, Sally took it all in stride, claimIng that the clamour served to revitalize her during grading. We all missed Sally when she retired but those primate films will always remain dedicated to her. I would say Rest in Peace but I'm sure she'll always be up to something!
My condolences to everyone in her family.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Linn

My memory of Sally will always be one of a kind, helpful, straight shooter. We worked together on several occasions beginning in 1998 and it was pleasure every time. My condolences to her family.
