Sally Jean (Murphy) O'Rourke, age 71, of Lincoln Park, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025.
Born on February 17, 1954, in Wyandotte, Michigan, Sally was the cherished daughter of the late Donald L. Murphy Sr. and Helena Murphy. She built a life filled with love, warmth, and devotion to her family, always putting others before herself and finding joy in the simplest of moments.
Sally is survived by her devoted husband, Fred O'Rourke, and her beloved children, Coreen (Arik) O'Rourke Theeke and Glen (Brenda) O'Rourke. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Patricia (Jeff) Abbott, and her brothers, Timothy Murphy, Robert (Jacqueline) Murphy, and Donald (Anthony) Murphy Jr. She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, who she now joins in eternal rest.
Family and friends will remember Sally for her kindness, strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her memory will forever remain a blessing in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
