Salome Ortiz Obituary
Ventura County - Salome Daniel Ortiz, known by friends and loved ones as Sam, Sammy or Chula, 50, of Ventura County passed away on January 30th, 2021. Sam was born in Los Angeles on January 5, 1971. Born to John and Benita Ortiz, Sam was raised in Thousand Oaks, CA. Sam always had a smile on his face, a joke to tell or some adventure he was planning. Sam was an accomplished electrician and a proud member of the I.B.E.W. Local 952. Sammy loved the outdoors; fishing and camping. He was also passionate about music and played guitar. Sammy is survived by his son, whom he loved deeply, Nicholas Ortiz. He is also survived by his parents, John and Benita, his brothers Eddie, Jesse and Daniel, and his sisters Janna and Autumn. Sammy will be missed by many close friends and loved ones and will forever be in our hearts.
