My prayers and thoughts are with the family. I saw Sal Ledesma at Santa Clara Church a few weeks back and he was so pleasant and kind. He was one of the great pioneers of Oxnard.

My dearest Lucina, many years have past since our families were so close. You were one of my mothers dearest friends and I of course thought you were the sweetest woman in Oxnard. It was mentioned that your beloved was an active member of the 'Latin American Businessmen's Association' which my father and Mr. Trevino started, and I served as treasurer. Those were very happy times!.
I'm sorry for your loss of your beloved husband. He was a gentleman, respected by all. May God help you through this time of great sorrow.
Love,

To remember the guidance, generosity and discipline given to us all who worked with Sal Sr. was a lesson I took with respect. I am grateful for his advice and concern for the well being of us all at Oxnard Produce.
It is an honor to have known such a great person.
God Bless you Sal Sr.

My condolences to the Ledesma Family during this most difficult time. I was sorry to hear that Don Chava a friend of the family for many years had passed away. I remember Don Chava from the time he owned and operated the Ranchers Market to the time he started the Oxnard Produce Company. He was truly a gentleman and the most nices person you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. I know words can not express the feeling you are all going through at this time but hope the many wonderful fond memories he left behind will ease the pain. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this time of pain and sorrow. I will pray to our Lord that he may find a special place for Don Chava in Heaven as he is deserving of no less. My God Bless all of you during this most difficult time.
