Mr. Rubio and his family lived down the road from my family in Hughson for many years. I came to know their family well. I was always impressed with Mr. Rubio's humble and sincere way with people. This same character trait is with his children. Mr. Rubio will be missed. May peace be the family.

My memories of Mr Salvador Rubio; I can clearly see Mr. Rubio sitting in the stands of the old Hughson High Gym over 30 years ago now. His son John and I would enter to warm up on the mat prior to a wrestling match against an opposing team. I would always glance up as any guy would I guess to see if his own Dad was watching to cheer him on. Not seated far from my Dad would be Mr. Rubio. He was always fit, well dressed, never loud or obnoxious and always polite; and as my wife Cindy says "Such a handsome man." I was equally pleased to see him there I guess because I know how hard his son John worked in practice and I wanted him to see his boy win. So much work for so little glory, but all so worth it for the friendship I've gained. John and I were teamates, workout partners and now lifelong friends. I didn't know Mr. Rubio well but received such a blessing at his "Life Celebration". His children's reflections, thoughts and love for their Father was so genuine and true you couldn't help but to feel his presence. (I know he was both pleased and proud) After hearing a little history of Mr. Rubio it is quite evident where his children get their drive, work ethic and compasion. To all of the Rubio Family thank you so much for your hospitality. I was truely humbled, honored and blessed to attend his Life Celebration. Thank you for paying it forward. May you seek comfort in knowing he is at peace. Your old friend, Gerald

Please accept my condolences for your loss. I knew Mr. Rubio to be an honest, intelligent, hard working man that was deeply loved by his family and returned their love. I have always admired Mr. Rubio and feel that was a great example for all of us.
