Dear Josephine and Sal's family, I am sorry about the death of Sal, but happy for him. I know that this wonderful Catholic man is at peace with Our Lord and all the saint in heaven. He was an American hero and a Knight of Columbus. I really enjoyed praying with Sal at the Mass here at the VAMC - WPB, FL. The staff loved him. Thank you for sharing him with us. You will be missed by so many! I knew you and Josephine for just a few months, but I learned so much from you both during that time! I loved all the time we had together and all the stories we shared. I will cherish every moment I was able to spend with you, you became a dear friend in those months and I know I will see you again one day!!
