Salvatore Olivieri Obituary
AGE: 74 • Congers
Salvatore T. Olivieri, 74, of Congers, NY passed away peacefully on December 18, 2016. Originally from Clason Point, Bronx, NY. He served in the US Army from 1960-1962 and joined the NYPD in 1970. He was an avid NY Yankees fan. He was the son of the late Giovanni and Caremella Olivieri.
He is survived by his brother Louis and his sister Anna Marie and his loving sons Patrick and Giovanni. He is a also survived by his former wife Carol Oliveri and step-daughter Lisa Barnable and grandson Luciano. He is predeceased by his parents.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at St. Paul's Church in Congers, NY followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery in Queens, NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Ln, New City, NY 10956

As we look into our Bibles we can see He is coming soon I'm here to tell you children that we will all soon be leaving the Bride Groom is coming to take us all away maybe it's tomorrow or maybe it's today
And we will fly away in a twinkle of an eye leaving all our heartaches and telling them all good bye and we will fly away when He hears His Father say Jesus go and get your bride today's your wedding day
When we see the Bride Groom coming all the clouds in the sky will he be telling you hello or will he be telling you goodbye oh be sure and be ready to meet Him face to face we've got to fight the good fight we got to keep our faith
