Samada Moore Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 8, 2010.
Samada Monique (Nikki) Moore was born on March 1, 1973 to Leona Prophet Moore and the late Harold Curtis Moore in Buffalo, New York. Samada was taken from us tragically at the age of 37, on April 8, 2010 in Memphis, Tennessee. Samada was educated in the Buffalo Public School System. Samada's work experience started when she began working as a teenager with the Buffalo Mayor's Summer Youth Program. She later worked as a cashier for Save-More Food Market. She worked as a Dispatcher for Cold Spring Taxi Cab Service and she was also an Office Manager for Adelphia Cable Co. In 1999 she relocated to Memphis, Tennessee where she became Head Cook at Youth Village Services. Samada had plans to relocate back to Buffalo, New York. Samada was a very beautiful young lady and she loved to style and profile. She had a beautiful and loving spirit, a heart of gold and was a good friend to many. Samada never met a stranger. Samada will be dearly missed by all of us and her spirit will live on forever in our hearts. Samada was preceded in death by her beloved father, Harold Curtis Moore and her maternal grandmother, Mary Lee Prophet. She leaves to cherish her memories, her precious children, daughter, Medina Leona Knox, son, Stephen Avante Boston, her dear mother, Leona Prophet Moore, 2 brothers, Harold Leon Moore & Gerald Darnell Moore, her paternal grandparents, David & Willie Mae Elliot, 1 nephew, Daniel Germain Laporta, 2 great aunts, Jessie Knighter (surrogate mother) & Magnolia Prophet, a god daughter, Terrica Roby, a surrogate grandmother, Vernice Roby, her best friend, Oscar Love, & a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends in Buffalo, New York & Memphis, Tennessee. Sleep on dear Nikki, go and take your rest, we all loved you so very much but God loved you best.
