Samalane "Sami" Flint BRISTOL, Va. Samalane "Sami" Flint, 82, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at her home with family and friends. She was a daughter of the late Asa Samuel Miles and Lillie Bond Miles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Russel Flint. Sami moved to Bristol from Columbus, Ohio, after retiring from General Motors with 32 years of service. She was a member of Fellowship Chapel Church. Sami is survived by her daughter, Pamela A. Burchfield, Bristol Virginia; son, Robert L. Evans, Bristol Virginia; special niece, Carol Whaley; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchil-dren, and several other nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning, June 14, 2010, at the Heritage Chapel of Memories in Mountain View Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Price officiating. Friends may visit at the home of Sami, 116 Booher Lane, Bristol, VA, 24201 at any time.
