I didn't know your daughter, I just merely ran across her "In Memory" page on FB by accident. I don't know how she died, but from the sound of it, she was a strong, courageous young woman, with the world at her hands. My heart goes out to your family now and forever, as I do not (and hope to never) know the feeling of losing a child...no matter what age. All I can offer is my sympathy to you and your other daughters and to say...Re-tell stories from time to time, laugh and rejoice, and I guarantee that smile that you had before when she was alive, will return again and again...Memories are the greatest treasures that no one can steal from you. They leave us all with some part of the person who has left our lives. Bless you all.
Love, Tina

Lind Family-- Your girls have always held a special place in my heart . . . I am proud to have been one of their teachers. That you have raised three such beautiful, warm, loving, and caring girls is a testament to your wonderful family. Losing Sammy is devastating--I know there can be no words to describe it.
I am thinking of you, and praying you find peace and comfort in each other and those that love you at this time . . . thank you for sharing that sweet girl with us.

Our Daughters knew each other as classmates at CPHS. Our Daughter Alyssa would have graduated along with Samantha in June of 2009, but she passed away unexpectedly on January 4th 2009 she too was just 18 years old.
We have just passed the 1 year mark without our Beautiful Daughter and can realize the shock and pain you are going through this week, making funeral plans for your Lovely Daughter, is just not right.
Trying to continue and rebuild a new life without your child is very hard and unnatural. We just wanted to let you know if you ever want to get together and talk, we are available. As you will learn you will have great support from family and friends, however if they have not lost a child they cannot fully understand what this loss means. Although we are not far into our grief journey we have found that talking and sharing with other parents who have lost a child is helpful. So please do not hesitate if in a week or a month you would like to contact us please do so.
We know that our Alyssa was there for your Samantha when she needed her, they are together in heaven and both are free of all the pain and suffering, they may have experienced on earth.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in the coming days and in the life ahead without Samantha.
God Bless you.
